We came to eat this Friday evening and had such a great time, that I thought I’d tell you why:

I took my boyfriend to this restaurant, as I’d heard good things about it and he used to be a chef and quite a foodie. We both loved it. He’s eaten at Claridges and similar restaurants and said this was the BEST meal he’s ever eaten. The presentation was great, the taste was fantastic and the service was excellent. I often have problems eating out, because of my intolerance to wheat and dairy, but the staff were really helpful and knew the menu without having to check with the kitchen. And I had a pretty good choice of dishes, which usually isn’t the case when I eat out. One of us had 2 courses and the other 3, a side dish, bottle of wine (which was fantastic for the price) all for just over £50. I was very impressed to find food of this quality at such a good price. Even the decor, layout and overall ambience of the place was just right. I can’t recommend it enough. We will definitely be returning, soon hopefully!

My husband and I came to have our 25th anniversary lunch at Ascough’s on the 19 th July and I can’t stop raving about the place, the food was absolutely fab, we don’t dine out much , our daughter recommended you to us and we both thought the food was excellent, I have told everyone about the place and many have said they will come and see you, I only hope next time we want to come we will get a table!  The staff were on the ball and made us feel very welcome, thank you once again, hope to see you soon .

What a wonderful meal we all had! We have dined at Ascough’s half a dozen times now, and I can quite honestly say this was the best food we have ever had here! The service was outstanding also, and the combination of flavours your chef put together was inventive and delicious. This goes for all 8 of our party – 4 of whom are teenagers. So thanks again, for enabling our lovely evening.

Once again we had a excellent meal last night with our friends, I found your restaurant a few years ago now and have been returning at least twice a year (I would like to come more often if the money allowed)
