We have an excellent opportunity for a driven and ambitious individual to join our fast paced restaurant which has gained an excellent reputation for delivering exceptional food and drink and providing a professional, friendly service.

The restaurant focuses on sourcing the best quality ingredients, preparing them simply and delivering great food and texture on the plate.

The ideal candidate will be an excellent all rounder with a positive attitude and good work ethic. You will have at least 1-2 years experience working within a high quality kitchen or be an ambitious Commis Chef with the passion to succeed and excel in a restaurant that works towards AA rosette standard. Good time management and organisational skills are essential for handling high volume business and meeting deadlines in this fast paced environment.

Ascough’s is keen for its team to reflect the restaurant itself – which is why fun, bright and friendly personalities always shine.

  • 48 Hours a week Tue – Sat,
  • Split shifts allocated by weekly rota
  • Wage negotiable depending on age and experience.

Summer closure period

Christmas & new year closure period

Ascough’s are taking a well deserved rest over Christmas and new year and will close after evening service on Saturday 20th December. We will open again on Tuesday 6th Jan. We are pleased to be supporting the Mo’ket Harborough campaign this Movember.  We will be making a donation to the Movember charity when certain dishes on our November lunch and dinner menus are ordered.
