Card Details

Card details will be required at the time of booking to secure your reservation for certain dates, times and for parties of 6 or above, In the event of a cancellation with less than 24 hours, or a no show on the day, we reserve the right to charge the registered card £15 per person.

Prompt Arrival

Please ensure all diners arrive promptly as we reserve the right to resell your table after 20 minutes unless we receive prior notification.

Disabled Access & Dietary Requirements

If you need street level dining, disabled access or have any major allergies or food intolerances please notify us in the comments section at the time of booking.

Parties of 6 or more

We are only able to accommodate reservations up to 8 people online. If your party is more than 8 please contact the restaurant directly via telephone 01858 466966 or email hello@ascoughsbistro.co.uk to make a reservation. Please see our large party terms and conditions for parties of 6 or more. Parties of 7 or more will be provided with a special 3 course menu to pre-order from. We do not accept parties of more than 14. 

Children

At Ascough’s, we aim to provide a calm and comfortable environment for all our guests to enjoy. Due to the layout and limited space within the restaurant, we are unfortunately unable to accommodate children under the age of 5, including infants in prams or car seats. We also do not offer highchairs, changing facilities, or a children’s menu.

As a family-run restaurant with four children of our own, we completely understand the joys and challenges of dining out with little ones. This policy simply reflects the constraints of our space and our desire to ensure the best possible experience for everyone dining with us.

Taster Menu

Taster menu needs to be pre booked and card details provided at time of booking. Please select this menu when making your reservation. Taster menu is only available Tuesday to Saturday evenings for reservations between 6.30pm – 8pm.

Please kindly note that we are unable to offer TASTER MENU during December.

Early Bird Menu

The Early Bird menu needs to be pre booked, please select this menu when making your reservation. This menu is only available Tuesday to Thursday lunch and evenings for reservations from 11.45am-12.15pm and 6.15pm-6.45pm.
