Tasting Menu

Ascough’s prides itself on serving delicious contemporary dishes using quality sourced ingredients from local suppliers such as Bates Butchers, The Langton Brewery and Duncan Murray Wines. Everything is produced on the premises from bread and biscuits to ice creams and sorbets. We aim to maintain our high standards at all times  so we ask that you are patient during busy times as your food is cooked to order.

Our competitively priced lunch and dinner set menus offer diners the choice of eating 2 or 3 courses. Parties of 8 or more are provided with a special 3 course menu, please refer to our large party infromation page for more information.  Menus change at the start of every month so there is always something fresh and stimulating to choose from everytime you visit us.

Dessert Assiette

Diners in the evening can enjoy complimentary freshly made bread and chef’s seasonal vegetables and potato dish. If you are feeling extra hungry you can even treat yourself to some intros or side dishes. If you want to really indulge in the evening then why not try our famous assiette of desserts – a selection of 3 mouthwatering desserts that will leave you feeling satisfyingly full.

Our staff are always on hand to discuss the menus with you. We are happy to offer a simpler menu if there is part of the dish you are not keen on or are alergic too. We will also advise on dietary requirements too.
